To support the finance department at the KARE head office in Munich (Garching-Hochbrück), we are looking for a full-time accounts receivable clerk (*) in the wholesale sector with immediate effect.
*) Gender doesn't matter, the main thing is motivation

Your tasks:

  • Accounting support for our national and international customers/ franchisees and maintenance of receivables accounts
  • Handling of the entire dunning process (sending reminders, telephone follow-up with defaulting payers, clarification of complaints, monitoring of payment plans, cooperation with our legal department)
  • Booking of incoming payments and settlements
  • Dispatch of invoices and credit notes
  • Account reconciliation (internal/external)
  • Registration and monitoring of claims with insolvency administrators
  • Submission of claims and collection cases
  • Handling of internal and external correspondence
  • Monitoring of the credit limit (e.g. through trade credit insurance, bank credit insurance, bank credit insurance), release of goods deliveries and cooperation with our trade credit insurance
  • Bank booking

That's why you fit into our team:

  • You have completed commercial training, e.g. as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk, industrial clerk, commercial clerk and have ideally already gained initial experience in accounting (accounts receivable/accounts payable)
  • You are fluent in German and have a very good command of written and spoken English
  • You enjoy working with numbers and approach every task with the necessary accuracy and reliability
  • You are flexible, communicative and enjoy providing comprehensive customer support via telephone, email, etc.
  • You are able to deal well with conflicts and have a talent for organization
  • You work independently, in a structured manner and with a focus on goals and processes

  • You already have some knowledge of the ERP software ABAS or comparable software
  • You have good MS Office skills
  • Additional language skills in French and Italian are a plus
