With its ‘Joy of living’ slogan the company markets unconventional furnishing design at attractive prices under its own KARE brand since 1981. Today the company counts more than 200 shops in 50 countries.

To support the purchasing department in the KARE head office in Munich (Garching-Hochbrück) we are looking for a full- or part-time (at least 30 hours/week) employee (*) in purchasing for the international market with immediate effect.
*) Gender doesn't matter, the main thing is motivation

Your tasks:

  • Procurement management from scheduling to goods receipt
  • International supplier management in German and English
  • Negotiation of prices and conditions
  • Transport handling with transport service providers

That's why you fit into our team:

  • Completed commercial professional training
  • First professional experience in the field of purchasing/disposition/procurement
  • Knowledge in the field of logistics/sea freight is an advantage
  • Strong negotiation skills, proactive, independent and solution-oriented working style, good organizational and time management skills
  • Team player
  • Strong analytical skills and high affinity for numbers
  • Fast comprehension and high ability to work under pressure
  • Good MS-Office skills and ERP experience
  • Fluent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken
