To support our IT team at the KARE head office in Munich (Garching-Hochbrück) we are looking for a full-time system and network administrator (*).
*) Gender doesn't matter, the main thing is motivation
Your tasks:
- Support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and end devices
- 1st and 2nd level support for IT queries and problems
- Installation, configuration and management of hardware and software
- Ensuring network stability and security, including firewall and VPN administration
- Administration of Windows and Linux servers as well as virtual environments (e.g. VMware)
- Windows client and server administration
- IT security management, including implementation and maintenance of security policies
- M365 administration
- Planning and implementation of IT projects in collaboration with other departments
- Documentation of IT processes and systems

- Successfully completed training or studies in the field of computer science, IT system administration or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in the administration of IT systems, networks and user support
- Profound knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, etc.)
- Experience with cloud services (e.g. Microsoft 365, Azure)
- Structured, independent and team-oriented way of working
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and service orientation
